What sizes and generations do you breed?
Right now we breed mini F1 aussiedoodles (50% Australian Shepherd & 50% Miniature Poodle) and F1b mini goldendoodles (75% Miniature Poodle & 25% Golden Retriever). Bernedoodles and Moyen Poodles will be coming in 2023 and we are super excited for those too!
How much are your puppies?
The price of our puppies are between $2000-$2500 and more information can be found on our puppy pricing page. If you are interested in purchasing an available puppy or a puppy from an upcoming litter, please fill out a puppy application.

Puppies will have been introduced to crate training, leash training and potty training
Puppies will be socialized with people of all ages, animals and common household sounds
A 2 year genetic health guarantee
Lifetime support from the Gunstock Doodle Family
What health testing do you do for your parent dogs?
Before breeding, our parent dogs have genetic testing (DNA testing) done to ensure your puppy won’t be at risk for any genetic condition that can be tested for. Parent dogs also have their hips and elbows tested to make sure your puppy has the best chance to avoid any hip or joint problems in the future. (We educate our puppy families on how to best decrease the chances of joint issues resulting from environmental factors too)
When can I take my puppy home?
Puppies are ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks. If you are not able to pick up your puppy by the weekend after your puppy turns 8 weeks, there may be a fee for keeping your puppy here longer.
Can I come visit my puppy before I bring him home?
Because puppies immune systems aren’t fully developed and they aren’t fully vaccinated until 16 weeks, we don’t allow visits until pick up day. We send weekly pictures and videos to families who have paid the reservation fee and can do FaceTime or FB Messenger calls too.
We live far away from you. Will you ship my puppy to me?
Yes, we can either meet you at the Phoenix Sky Harbor airport and you can fly your puppy home in the cabin with you or we can help coordinate a flight nanny to deliver the puppy to your nearest airport. We do love to meet our puppy families in person but understand that this isn’t always possible and definitely will work with you to find the best way to get your puppy to his new home.
Do you remove dew claws or dock tails?
No, after doing a lot of research about dew claws online and consulting with my vet, we have decided not to remove dew claws. New research is showing that dogs DO use their dew claws when they are grasping things (like bones and toys) and they help provide stability when they are on steep or uneven terrain. We believe that removing the dew claw does more harm than good but if you really want to have them removed, it is very easy to have done during the spay/neuter procedure at 12 months. Tail docking is actually illegal in most countries beside the United States and tails are actually a dog’s way to communicate their feelings with other dogs. Plus, the doodle tail is BEAUTIFUL!
Will you consider selling a puppy with breeding rights?
We will occasionally sell breeding rights to qualified breeders for an additional fee. Please reach out to me so we can discuss your program and the health testing that will be done before you breed. Puppies that are not sold with breeding rights, have a strict spay/neuter at 12 months clause in the contract and failure to send us verification will void the 2 year heath guarantee. For those who are interested in breeding rights, we will help you pick the right puppy for your breeding program.
What are the different generations of doodles?
An F1 doodle is the result of breeding two different purebred parent dogs
For Example: A purebred Australian Shepard x a purebred Poodle would make and F1 Aussiedoodle (50/50 cross) Good for non-allergy or mild allergy sufferers
An F1b doodle is the result of breeding an F1 doodle and a purebred Poodle.
For Example: An F1 Gooldendoodle x a purebred Poodle would make an F1b Goldendoodle
(75/25 cross) Good for mild-mod allergy sufferers
An F1bb doodle is the result of breeding an F1b doodle and a purebred Poodle
For Example: An F1b Bernedoodle x a purebred Poodle would make an F1bb Bernedoodle
(12.5/87.5 cross) Best for mod-severe allergy sufferers
An F2 doodle is the result of breeding an F1 doodle and an F1 doodle.
Example: An F1 Aussiedoodle x an F1 Aussiedoodle would make an F2 Aussiedoodle
(50/50 cross) Pretty unpredictable coat – can end up with flat high shedding coat
An F2b doodle is the result of breeding and F1 doodle and an F1b doodle OR breeding an F2 doodle and a pure Poodle (75/25 cross) very similar to F1b
A Multigenerational doodle is anything beyond F2 and the cross percentage is dependent on the generations of the parents.
How can I be a part of your Guardian Home program?
Guardian homes are special part of the Gunstock Doodle family. In a guardian home, puppies or adult dogs get to live a full life as a beloved pet while still being a part of our breeding program. As we grow our program, we know that we can’t keep all of our dogs living with us and really want them to have a forever family who can love and spoil them. Our guardian families have the opportunity to get a “pick of the litter” top of the line puppy or young adult dog to be part of their family at no cost. Our guardian family dogs will get to stay with their family except when they are whelping or raising puppies. For females, this might be twice a year for 8-9 weeks and for our males the time is not nearly as long. When these dogs are finished with their breeding (usually before they are 5 for females and when they are 6 for males) they are spayed/neutered and all rights are signed over to the guardian family. Because we care deeply about all our dogs and want them to live the best lives, interested families need to fill out the guardian family application and go through an interview process to be accepted in our guardian home program.
